Akshay Kumar wraps up shoot for 'Raksha Bandhan', calls it 'bittersweet'

Akshay Kumar and producer-director Aanand L Rai have wrapped up the shoot of their upcoming film, 'Raksha Bandhan' in Delhi. Akshay shared a fun photo with the film's director and said goodbye to the film's team.

He penned an emotional note saying that it’s a ‘bittersweet’ feeling for him. He wrote 'Off to the next', as he wrapped the film's shoot. Aanand L Rai also shared a photo hugging Akshay Kumar and wrote, "A journey well shared is a journey well enjoyed".

Earlier, Akshay had shared a glimpse of his shoot from the film's set in Delhi. He said that he felt nostalgic about filming in Chandni Chowk as it was his birthplace.

Also starring Bhumi Pednekar in female lead role, the film is all set to release in theatres on August 11, 2022 just in time of Independence Day.
