Akshay Kumar announces ‘Housefull 5’: Here’s when India’s biggest comedy franchise will return

Actor Akshay Kumar took to social media on June 30 to announce the 5th installment of ‘Housefull’. He shared the news along with a poster and promised ‘5 times the madness’.

‘Housefull 5’, which will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is all set to sparkle your Diwali in 2024.

Akshay Kumar has confirmed the return of Riteish Deshmukh in the franchise but the rest of the cast is yet to be revealed.

Sharing the announcement poster, Akshay wrote, ‘Get ready for FIVE times the madness! Bringing to y'all #SajidNadiadwala’s #Housefull5 Directed by @Tarunmansukhani. See you in cinemas on Diwali 2024! @Riteishd @NGEMovies @WardaNadiadwala.’

Fans are excited for ‘Housefull 5’ but they are also awaiting an update on ‘Hera Pheri 3’.

‘What about Hera Pheri 3,’ wrote a fan. ‘Bhai Hera Pheri 3 lao,’ another commented.

Akshay and Ritiesh have remained a constant in the ‘Housefull’ movies. The first and second parts were directed by Sajid Khan, while the third was helmed by Sajid-Farhad and the fourth by only Farhad Samji.

Akshay Kumar was last seen in ‘Selfiee’ along with Emraan Hashmi which failed to impress the audience at the box office. He will be next seen in ‘OMG 2’ and in an upcoming action thriller, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ alongside Tiger Shroff and Sonakshi Sinha.
