Actor Ranveer Singh to attend FIFA World Cup Finale in Qatar: Reports

Actor Ranveer Singh has been making headlines these days for various reasons - from winning accolades for his perfomance in '83' to meeting basketball legends at NBA games in Abu Dhabi. Now, the actor is reportedly all set to represent India at FIFA World Cup Finale in Qatar which is scheduled to be held on December 18.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, 'Ranveer has become a cultural phenomenon globally. He represents the aspirational youth of India globally and is the perfect ambassador to be there at FIFA World Cup finals. He will be there for a day and will have a host of key meetings with multiple global footballing icons who are being finalised to attend the marquee event.'

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world, and the second World Cup to be held in Asia after 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. He also has ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Alia Bhatt in the pipeline.
