Bangalore South candidate and MP Tejasvi Surya's wealth grew by 2986‌% in last 5 years: report

BJP candidate from South Bangalore and MP Tejasvi Surya's wealth grew by 2,986% in the last five years, according to a data research conducted by Bangalorevotes.org, a civil rights group.

With 1009% wealth growth, BJP topped the list of political parties with the highest wealth growth rate in the last five years in Bengaluru.

On that list, Congress is on the second number with 76% wealth growth.

It is worth noting that Tejasvi Surya declared total assets worth Rs 4.10 crore while filing his nomination on April 4. In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, he declared total assets of Rs. 13.46 lakh.
