iPhone 16 sale begins: Fans queue up at Apple stores

Long queues were seen outside Apple stores at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and Delhi’s Saket as the much-anticipated iPhone 16 series went on sale in India today. Apple enthusiasts gathered in large numbers, eager to be among the first to get their hands on the latest iPhone model.

The BKC store, which is India’s first-ever Apple store, witnessed a vibrant atmosphere with people lining up from the early hours of the morning. Some were even camped out overnight, showcasing the intense enthusiasm Apple products typically generate. A similar scene unfolded at Delhi’s Saket store, where excited customers formed long queues, demonstrating the brand's immense popularity in the country.

The iPhone 16 series comes packed with advanced features, including a more powerful A18 Bionic chip, improved camera systems, and a sleek new design. Apple’s strategy to launch the iPhone 16 in India simultaneously with other global markets reflects the company's growing focus on the Indian market, which is becoming increasingly important for its business.

With India's burgeoning middle class and expanding digital infrastructure, the demand for premium smartphones like the iPhone has surged in recent years. The launch of the iPhone 16 is expected to drive strong sales for Apple, with the initial response from customers already setting the tone for another successful product cycle.

As sales commence, the rush at Apple stores in key cities highlights not only the allure of Apple’s technology but also the brand's deepening connection with Indian consumers.
