On camera: Injured Imran Khan brought inside the container after gun attack

Pakistan's former prime minister Imran Khan was injured on Thursday when an unidentified gunman opened fire on the container-mounted-truck carrying him during his protest march in Pakistan's Punjab province, but he was out of danger in what his party claimed was an "assassination attempt."

An inside video of Imran Khan's container's has emerged on social media showing PTI leaders bringing the injured former Pakistan Prime Minister down after the gun attack.

The video shows several party leaders coming back into the container, one of them limping. It then shows Imran Khan being helped back into container by several supporters.

One of the men is seen lifting Khan's injured leg as he limped back inside.

The incident occurred near Allahwala Chowk of Wazirabad town in Punjab when Khan was leading the long march to Islamabad demanding early elections.
