Video: Imran Khan supporter talks about how he attempted to stop attacker

Pakistan's fomer PM Imran Khan had a narrow escape from an assassination attempt. An unidentified gunman who shot at Khan missed the target and the bullet hit him in his leg.

The motivation for the assassin was clearly to kill Khan, however, a PTI supporter who was close to the attacker stopped him on time which saved the former Prime Minister's life.

The man, who foiled the assailant's attempt has been hailed as a hero on social media.

A video of the man who stopped the attacker surfaced on social media in which he said that he was approximately 10 to 12 feet away from the container in which Khan was present and when he saw the attacker loading his gun he rushed at him and tried to snatch his gun in this the attacker missed its target and later tried to run from the spot. The man chased him down and handed him over to the police.
