Kathmandu, Sep 10 (PTI) - Over the past two days, at least 25 people, including three policemen, have lost their lives during intense anti-government protests led by the 'Gen Z' group in Nepal, according to police and officials.

Security forces fired upon demonstrators in front of the Parliament building on Monday, resulting in the deaths of 19 people, most of whom were young, reports indicate.

On Tuesday, during violent demonstrations in the Koteshwor area of Kathmandu, the mob claimed the lives of three policemen, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the Nepal Police.

Three more protesters perished during clashes with law enforcement at the Kalimati Police Station on Tuesday.

Officials from the Home Ministry report that 633 individuals were injured amid the protests.
