Kannada actor Yash became a household name after the massive success of &lsquo;KGF: Chapter One&rsquo; and &lsquo;KGF: Chapter 2&rsquo;. Following this, many filmmakers have been keen to get him on board for their forthcoming projects.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Yash has been offered two big-budget Bollywood films - Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra&rsquo;s &lsquo;Karna&rsquo;, a mythological epic based on Mahabharata, and Ayan Mukerji&rsquo;s &lsquo;Brahmastra 2&rsquo;.
A source close to the development told Pinkvilla that &lsquo;Yash knows about the expectations of the audience and he doesn&rsquo;t want to let them down, which is primarily the reason why he is taking his own time to lock the next project. He is loaded with offers by filmmakers from all industries, but it&rsquo;s a matter of zeroing down on something that appeals to everyone and does justice to the legacy of KGF 2.&rsquo;
The source further revealed that Yash has been offered to play the powerful character of Dev in &lsquo;Brahmastra 2&rsquo;. However, Yash is yet to give a go-ahead to either of the projects.
The actor is expected to make up his mind by January 2023 i.e., his birthday.
Various other names like Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan have also been doing the rounds in the media for playing the role of Dev in &lsquo;Brahmastra&rsquo; sequel. However, the makers are yet to confirm any of the reports.
The makers have reportedly also discussed the idea with Ranbir Kapoor to play a double role in &lsquo;Brahmastra 2&rsquo;.
Earlier, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Ayan talked about &lsquo;Bhramastra- Part Two: Dev&rsquo; and said that he plans to release the film in three years. He mentioned that the basic storyline of part two and part three has always been in place.

Speaking on the increasing reach of Yash’s presence across the country, Rohit Jaiswal, a renowned trade analyst said, “In the Bengal belt, both single screen and multiplexes are running to packed houses, even for early morning and late-night shows. And not just in cinemas, the Rocky Bhai look has become a rage and everyone wants to get. Not just the physical appearance, but even his swag. The love for Yash is similar to what Bengal has for Prosenjit, and his female fan following here is massive as well.”
Similar scenes were witnessed from Gaeity Galaxy in Mumbai, which is known to be one of landmark single screens of the area. Videos of audience cheering for Rocky Bhai unanimously in Mumbai, to visuals of families flocking theatres in Tamil Nadu at 3 AM even on the 3rd day, is also a first for Tamil Nadu belt.

Be it Mumbai, Kochi, or anywhere else, the malls were jam-packed everywhere we went for the film's promotions. It's overwhelming to see the massive fan following for Yash and K.G.F. Working with Yash has been an absolute pleasure. Even though I am a newcomer, and he is such a huge star, Yash has been so patient and extremely supportive. He gave me my own space and time to soak it all in. He has been truly a treat to work with. I always watched and learned how dedicated he is and how he wants to improvise every time and do full justice to Rocky's character."
Speaking about her upbringing and debut in the film industry, she said, "When you grow up, you have your share of struggles, difficulties, and financial crises. I come from a lower-middle-class family, where one is expected to finish the studies and eventually get a job. But, somewhere down the line, I felt that this was not what I wanted to do...I wanted to break the shackles and come out of it. I resigned from my corporate job and immediately started trying for pageants as they have age restrictions. One day, the director saw my pictures and called me for a meeting for K.G.F.," she adds.
Srinidhi also revealed that it was a conscious decision not to sign many films parallel to K.G.F. "When K.G.F. (part 1) released, many offers came my way. A few were not exciting enough, while others did not work out the way it was supposed to be. Around 2019, I got a script narration from a Tamil director because it was beautiful [sic]. I got a chance to work with Vikram Sir -- another legendary talent house performer. So, there are absolutely no regrets about waiting for six years with just two projects in hand. It was a conscious effort and choice to pick up what I wanted to do. Down the line, when I see my body of work, I want to be happy that this is what I chose because I really wanted to do it, not just for the sake of doing it. For me, I prefer quality any day over quantity."

Titled Toofan, the song chronicles the rise of Yash&rsquo;s character Rocky as a saviour of enslaved people in the gold mines of Kolar.
The upbeat song has been composed by Ravi Basrur, written by Shabbir Ahamad, and sung by multiple singers including Brijesh Shandilya, Mohan Krishna, Laxman Datta Naik, among others.
Hombale Films (the producers of the movie) stated that the song will set the tone for the second instalment of 'KGF' franchise.
