This decision comes after a tragic incident last November, where a stampede at a concert at Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) in Ernakulam resulted in the deaths of four students and injuries to over 60 others before singer Nikita Gandhi&rsquo;s performance at a musical festival.
Following the incident, the Kerala High Court stated that the stampede during the annual tech festival was evidently due to &lsquo;some failure&rsquo; and &lsquo;should never have happened.&rsquo;
In light of the recent stampede-related deaths during events at Thiruvananthapuram Engineering College and Cusat, the state government has banned external DJ parties and music nights on campuses.
The vice-chancellor emphasized that, despite this order, the University College union attempted to organize a dance program without the university&rsquo;s permission. He stated that such programs would not be allowed on or off campus in the name of the union under any circumstances.

The registration with Sunny Leone's photo was done on the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board's (UPPRB) website. The UPPRB conducted the exams in 75 districts with 2,385 exam centres in the state on February 17.&nbsp;
In the admit card, it was also mentioned that Sunny Leone's exam centre was Smt Soneshree Memorial Girls College in Kannauj's Tirwa tehsil. The cyber cell of Kannauj Police is currently investigating the case.&nbsp;

Actor Sunny Leone in a new interview opened up about her heartbreaking experience with surrogacy.
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Sunny spoke about having three children in a short period of time. She added that surrogacy 'didn't go as planned,' which made her and her husband Daniel Weber to consider adoption.
Sunny revealed that the surrogacy procedure took her around a year and a half, and that it was 'really heartbreaking' for her at one time, that's when she and her partner made the decision to register for adoption.
Sunny said, "We were going through the process of surrogacy, which takes a long time. It took about a year-and-a-half from start to finish and during that time, before we decided ‘hey, why don’t we just adopt?’, surrogacy wasn’t going as planned. We had six eggs - four girls and two boys. In America, you know the gender and you can do genetic testing and all that kind of stuff. That’s in the US, not here. So we did IVF (in vitro fertilisation) and the girls didn’t turn into a baby, so that was really heartbreaking. You feel like a failure, you feel so low and so upset about it."
Sunny also recalled visiting an orphanage and thinking that adoption would make no difference because she would be emotionally attached to the child. 
"We went there and we were seeing all these babies and I was like, ‘Why can’t we just adopt a baby? What is the difference? She is still ours. We are not connected genetically but we will be connected through our heart.’ So, that process started. Because that other process was not working, this process is a ‘what if’ as well. It takes a little bit of time, a lot of paperwork, a lot of due diligence. Then we found out we were having twin boys and a little girl all in the same week. We call that God’s plan," she said.
After having twin sons Noah and Asher via surrogacy in 2018, Sunny adopted a girl called Nisha, who is six years old.

Music label Saregama on Sunday said the company will "change" the lyrics and the name of the song "Madhuban" after Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra alleged that the video of the track has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus.
The minister on Sunday had warned actor Sunny Leone, who stars in the video, and singers Shaarib and Toshi to apologise and withdraw their song 'Madhuban mein Radhika, jaise jungle me nache mor' within three days or else face action.
"In light of the recent feedback & respecting the sentiments of our fellow countrymen, we will be changing the lyrics & the name of the song Madhuban.
"The new song will replace the old one across all platforms over the next 3 days," Saregama, which had released the aforementioned song on its YouTube channel on December 22, said in a brief statement.
Mishra, who is also the Madhya Pradesh government spokesperson, had said Hindus worship Maa Radha and the song had hurt the sentiments of the people.
"Some vidharmis are constantly hurting Hindu sentiments. The video 'Madhuban me Radhika nache' is one such condemnable attempt. I am warning Sunny Leone ji, Shaarib and Toshi ji to understand. If they don't remove the song after apologising in three days, then we will take action against them," Mishra told reporters when asked about the song.
The song, which was released last week, is composed and sung by Shaarib and Toshi featuring Kanika Kapoor and Arindam Chakraborty.
On December 22, Leone had tweeted, "New Song Alert, Party Vibes only with #Madhuban!", while sharing the video of the song 'Madhuban me Radhika, jaise jungle me nache mor'.
The initial few words of this song match with the iconic 'Madhuban mein Radhika naache re' song from the 1960 film "Kohinoor". That song was sung by late singing legend Mohammed Rafi and featured late actor Dilip Kumar.
On Saturday, priests in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura had demanded a ban on this latest video album of Leone, accusing the Bollywood actor of hurting their religious sentiments by performing an "obscene" dance on the song 'Madhuban mein Radhika nache'.
In October this year, Mishra had issued a 24-hour ultimatum to fashion and jewellery designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee to withdraw an advertisement with "objectionable and obscene" portrayal of mangalsutra or else face statutory action. The designer had later withdrawn this advertisement.
Similarly, a few days before that, Dabur India Private Limited had withdrawn its Fem cream bleach advertisement, which showed same-sex couple celebrating 'Karva Chauth' and watching each other through a sieve, after the MP home minister termed the ad as objectionable and warned of taking legal steps against the company

The minister on Sunday had warned actor <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/sunny-leone-first-indian-actress-to-announce-misftiz-as-an-nft-it-sold-immediately-1635924805981" target="_blank">Sunny Leone</a>, who stars in the video, and singers Shaarib and Toshi to apologise and withdraw their song 'Madhuban mein Radhika, jaise jungle me nache mor' within three days or else face action.
"In light of the recent feedback &amp; respecting the sentiments of our fellow countrymen, we will be changing the lyrics &amp; the name of the song Madhuban.
"The new song will replace the old one across all platforms over the next 3 days," Saregama, which had released the aforementioned song on its YouTube channel on December 22, said in a brief statement.
Mishra, who is also the Madhya Pradesh government spokesperson, had said Hindus worship Maa Radha and the song had hurt the sentiments of the people.
"Some vidharmis are constantly hurting Hindu sentiments. The video 'Madhuban me Radhika nache' is one such condemnable attempt. I am warning Sunny Leone ji, Shaarib and Toshi ji to understand. If they don't remove the song after apologising in three days, then we will take action against them," Mishra told reporters when asked about the song.
The song, which was released last week, is composed and sung by Shaarib and Toshi featuring Kanika Kapoor and Arindam Chakraborty.
On December 22, Leone had tweeted, "New Song Alert, Party Vibes only with #Madhuban!", while sharing the video of the song 'Madhuban me Radhika, jaise jungle me nache mor'.
The initial few words of this song match with the iconic 'Madhuban mein Radhika naache re' song from the 1960 film "Kohinoor". That song was sung by late singing legend Mohammed Rafi and featured late actor Dilip Kumar.
On Saturday, priests in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura had demanded a ban on this latest video album of Leone, accusing the Bollywood actor of hurting their religious sentiments by performing an "obscene" dance on the song 'Madhuban mein Radhika nache'.
In October this year, Mishra had issued a 24-hour ultimatum to fashion and jewellery designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee to withdraw an advertisement with "objectionable and obscene" portrayal of mangalsutra or else face statutory action. The designer had later withdrawn this advertisement.
Similarly, a few days before that, Dabur India Private Limited had withdrawn its Fem cream bleach advertisement, which showed same-sex couple celebrating 'Karva Chauth' and watching each other through a sieve, after the MP home minister termed the ad as objectionable and warned of taking legal steps against the company.

Sunny Leone is the latest Bollywood star, after Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Salman Khan and Malayalam actor Rima Kallingal, to enter the world of NFTs or non-fungible tokens.
Sunny's NFT collection, titled 'Misfitz', has 9,600 NFTs that are 'completely unique, minted on the ethereum blockchain', her website says. The digital pieces have been 'sold and minted', NFT platform Mintdropz tweeted.
