Sunny Leone reveals story behind screen name

It is well-known that Sunny Leonne’s real name is Karenjit Kaur Vohra but the story behind her industry name was unknown till now.

In an interview with ETimes, the actor spilled the beans on how she ended up with the name Sunny Leone. She said that during an interview with a magazine about her work in the adult film industry, she was asked what she would want her screen name to be.

She added that she was in hurry to get to work that day as a receptionist and HR at a tax companyy and so suggested Sunny as her first name while asking the magazine to choose her last name. The actor said that the magazine owner had chosen Leone as her second name and she became Sunny Leone after the interview was published.

Sunny Leone also shared that her mother was upset at that point of time that she had chosen her brother Sandeep’s nickname as screen name.
