Rajnath Singh apparently hinted at Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) once again becoming a part of India. The BJP leader said, "We have just begun our journey of development in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. We will achieve our goal when we reach Gilgit and Baltistan."
The minister called out Pakistan for its double standards on human rights. Singh said that Islamabad will have to "bear consequences" of "atrocities" committed on people of PoK.
Commenting on the scourge of terrorism, Rajnath said that the "tandav" of terrorism that Jammu &amp; Kashmir has seen in the name of 'Kashmiriyat' is indescribable.
The minister also appreciated the abrogation of Jammu and Kashmir's special status by his government in August 2019. He said that discrimination against the people of Jammu and Kashmir ended under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership when Syama Prasad Mookerjee's dream of J&amp;K's full integration was achieved.

The UGC and the AICTE on Friday urged Indian students not to enrol themselves in any college or educational institution in Pakistan, failing which they will not be eligible to find a job or pursue higher education in this country.
The joint advisory issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) comes within a month of the higher education regulator warning Indian students planning to pursue higher studies in China, saying it does not recognise "degree courses done only in online mode without prior approval".
The advisory against travelling to China for education came after the Chinese government suspended all visas since November 2020 because of COVID-19.
"All concerned are advised not to travel to Pakistan for pursuing higher education. Any Indian national or Overseas Citizen of India who intends to take admission to any degree college or educational institution of Pakistan shall not be eligible for seeking employment or higher studies in India on the basis of such educational qualifications (in any subject) acquired in Pakistan," the advisory read.
"However, migrants and their children who have acquired higher education degrees in Pakistan and have been awarded citizenship by India would be eligible for seeking employment in India after obtaining security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs," it added.
According to AICTE Chairman Anil Sahasrabudhe, Indian students need to be advised to which institutions and countries they should travel for education so that they don't land up with a degree without parity with Indian regulations.
Echoing his thoughts, UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar said, "UGC and AICTE issue such public notices in the interest of Indian students who would like to pursue higher studies outside the country." "In the recent past, we have seen how our students had to face difficulties because they could not go back to the foreign countries to continue their studies," he said.

An American legislator's visit to Indian territory occupied by Pakistan led to sharp reactions from Delhi. Ilhan Omar, who is member of the US House of Representatives, is currently touring Pakistan, and was slated to visit Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.

 An American legislator's visit to Indian territory occupied by Pakistan led to sharp reactions from Delhi. Ilhan Omar, who is member of the US House of Representatives, is currently touring Pakistan. She was seen meeting recently-installed PM Shehbaz Sharif, and also his unceremoniously-ousted predecessor Imran Khan. Ilhan Omar's discussion on Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistani PM Sharif raised eyebrows in India. The Pakistani government said that Sharif raised the "serious human rights situation" in Kashmir, and stressed on the importance of "peaceful resolution" of the dispute. Omar was also slated to visit Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. India has continuously stressed that the Kashmir issue is a bilateral one between Delhi and Islamabad, with no room for external players.

An American legislator's visit to Indian territory occupied by Pakistan led to sharp reactions from Delhi.&nbsp;Ilhan Omar, who is member of the US House of Representatives, is currently touring Pakistan, and was slated to visit Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
Arindam Bagchi, spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said, "She visited a part of J&amp;K currently illegally occupied by Pakistan.&nbsp;If such a politician wishes to practice her narrow-minded politics at home, that's her business. But violating our territorial integrity and sovereignty in its pursuit, makes this ours. This visit is condemnable."

A gang rape survivor from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir in a video address pleaded with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for help. In the video the woman asks PM Modi for shelter and protection by letting her come to India. The woman said she fears for her own and her children’s life. 
The woman said she’s been running from pillar to post fighting for justice for 7 years now to no avail. In an earlier video the woman names the men who raped her.
