2. Chironji, flax seeds and sunflower seeds have great Ayurvedic properties and give an energy boost. You can whip up a delicious Chironji Ki Dal and roll flax seeds and sunflower seeds into your rotis.
3. Himalayan pink salt is considered to be the purest form of salt on Earth. It is not refined or processed and is rich in as many as 84 trace minerals!
4. Potato is not only starchy vegetable you can eat while fasting. Root vegetables like arbi, jimikand and sweet potatoes can be eaten. You can add them to a chaat, shallow-fry them or cook them as a main dish.
5. You can have nut milks made of almonds and cashews along with coconut milk. Just make sure that they are pure and unprocessed.
6. You can even chomp on a bowlful of peanuts and use peanut oil for cooking.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has put up posters prohibiting the entry of "non-Hindus" in the Garba pandals during the ongoing Navratri festival in Madhya Pradesh's Ratlam district.
The VHP said it has placed the posters stating the "entry of non-Hindus is prohibited" across 56 pandals.
The rightwing group alleged that non-Hindu men indulge in objectionable activities by entering the garba pandals where dance is performed hailing Goddess Durga.
The entry of non-Hindu youths had led to controversies at many places last year. "By putting up such posters, non-Hindu people are being told not to enter the garba and Durga pandals so that such incidents can be avoided,&rdquo; the VHP said.
Ratlam SDM Abhishek Gehlot said the administration has not received any complaint in this regard.

With&nbsp;Covid-19 still looming large,&nbsp;the West Bengal government has issued special safety guidelines that have to be followed at all pandal&nbsp;gatherings this festival season.

This year Ashtami falls on October 13 while Dashami falls on October 15.

The restrictions have been imposed to ensure that Covid protocols are followed during the festivities. Even though the second wave of Covid-19 has gone, the threat of Covid-19 is still looming large.
It has restricted the height of the idols to four feet for community pandals and two feet for household celebrations. The state government has asked the organisers of community pandals to make arrangements for online darshans and banned more than five people at a time in community pandals.
