The eighth season of &lsquo;Koffee with Karan&rsquo; concluded recently, with Karan Johar hosting Sumukhi Suresh, Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait, and Tanmay Bhat for the Koffee awards presentation. These guests also served as the jury, voting on the season's top moments and performances. In a light-hearted moment, Karan playfully acknowledged his resemblance to the character Poo while presenting the 'best moment' award to Rani Mukerji and Kajol.
The season's most entertaining segment, the rapid-fire round, had a surprise twist as Saif Ali Khan and Ananya Panday shared the 'Best rapid fire' award. Ananya playfully credited a 'boy Kapur' for her victory, referring to her episode with Sara Ali Khan.
For the 'Best episode' of the season, the nominations included Rani Mukerji-Kajol, Kareena Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, and Varun Dhawan-Sidharth Malhotra. The jury crowned Rani Mukerji and Kajol's episode as the winner, with a special jury award for the heartfelt conversation between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
Saif Ali Khan was honored with the 'Best performance &ndash; male' award, and Kareena joined in to celebrate the win. Deepika Padukone received the 'Best performance &ndash; female' award for her candid appearance.
Varun Dhawan had the last laugh, winning the 'Best Koffee burn' award of the season for his playful jabs at Karan, including calling him 'Karan Johar ghar-tode' and 'Komolika'.

During the show, Ajay and Karan addressed their past feud, which had caused a significant rift between them for years. The clash between Ajay&rsquo;s film &lsquo;Shivaay&rsquo; and Karan&rsquo;s &lsquo;Ae Dil Hai Mushkil&rsquo; at the box office had led to a misunderstanding between the two, resulting in a prolonged period of no communication. During the rapid-fire segment of the show, when Karan asked Ajay about his &lsquo;sworn enemy&rsquo; in the film industry, Ajay said, &lsquo;Once upon a time, it was you&rsquo; and Karan looked shocked at the revelation. Kriti later took to her Instagram story on Sunday, December 8 to deny these claims and called it fake news. She also revealed that she has taken legal action against this &lsquo;defamatory&rsquo; claim.Kriti wrote, &ldquo;There have been several articles reporting false news about me promoting some trading platforms at Koffee with Karan. Ananya Panday graced the &lsquo;koffee&rsquo; couch with Sara Ali Khan and made some interesting revelations about her personal and professional life.&nbsp;
On the show, Karan Johar also confirmed that Ananya is dating actor Aditya Roy Kapur.
The new episode started with Karan addressing the elephant in the room. He asked Ananya if she was dating Aditya. The &lsquo;Liger&rsquo; actor tried to dodge the question multiple times but failed.
Karan said, &lsquo;Denying your relationships, isn&rsquo;t that a bit last season?&rsquo; To this, she replied, &lsquo;I don&rsquo;t think it is last season, I think it&rsquo;s forever. You should&hellip; I am not saying you should deny your relationships or accept them. You should just do what works for you and I think some things are private and special and it should be kept that way.&rsquo;
&lsquo;So are you in a friend zone with Aditya Roy Kapur or is it more?&rsquo; Karan asked.&nbsp;
&lsquo;Not friends&hellip; We&rsquo;re friends&hellip;&rsquo; Ananya said but Karan quipped, &lsquo;Pyaar dosti hai.&rsquo; She then added, &lsquo;Best friends, we are really good friends.&rsquo;
Sara also teased Ananya about &lsquo;touching&rsquo; Aditya.
Ananya, who lost the rapid-fire round to Sara, was upset about not getting the hamper. Sara then jokingly said, &lsquo;If you touch my hamper, I&rsquo;ll touch your hamper,&rsquo; referring to Ananya&rsquo;s boyfriend Aditya.&nbsp;
Ananya quickly replied, &lsquo;You better not.&rsquo; To this, Sara said, &lsquo;Metro In Dino, babe.&rsquo;
Ananya Panday also addressed the challenges of dating an actor on the show and said that privacy is an issue when you&rsquo;re in the limelight.&nbsp;
