‘Koffee With Karan 8’ promo: Kareena Kapoor refuses to address reported feud with Ameesha Patel | watch

Kareena Kapoor will be gracing the ‘koffee’ couch with Alia Bhatt this week. A promo of the upcoming episode has been shared by the host Karan Johar on social media in which the duo, who are also in-laws, will be seen talking about their relationship, family dynamics, and work.

On the show, Kareena was asked to address her reported feud with Ameesha Patel but she refused to engage

‘Why didn’t you attend the Gadar 2 success party?’ Karan asked.

‘Because you and Ameesha Patel have such history,’ he added.

When Kareena asked him what he was referring to, Karan reminded her, ‘You were meant to do Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.’ Kareena turned her head away from Karan, and said to the audience, ‘I’m ignoring Karan, as you’ll can see.’

For the unversed, Kareena and Ameesha have been in an alleged tiff after Kareena was replaced in ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ with the ‘Gadar’ star.

In 2002, Kareena gave an unfiltered opinion about ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ and said, ‘The film was made for Hrithik. His dad spent five hours on every frame and close-up of his, whereas not even five seconds were spent on Ameesha. There are portions in the film where she has pimples and under-eye bags on her face. She just doesn’t look beautiful, but every shot of his was a dream. If I were in the film, I would have definitely got a better deal, but I still feel that the attention would have divided between us. So, I’m glad I didn’t do the film.’

As part of the rapid-fire round, Karan asked Kareena if she considers Deepika as a competition. The star replied, ‘I think this is Alia’s question for her rapid fire, not for me.’

The new episode ‘Koffee With Karan 8’ will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on Thursday at 12 AM.
