<p>British singer Ed Sheeran, known for tracks like "Shape of You", "Bad Habits" and "Thinking Out Loud", shared a throwback post from his visit to India and his meeting with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and other celebrities.</p>
<p>Sheeran, who visited India earlier this year as part of his (+-=&divide;x) Mathematics Tour, shared a post where he is hanging out with SRK. He tagged the clip with the caption, "@iamsrk, love the guy so much." During his tour between January to February, Sheeran travelled to perform across six cities, including Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Shillong, and Delhi NCR.</p>
<p>On Monday, Sheeran uploaded a series of pictures and videos on his Instagram, ahead of the release of his song "Sapphire". Another slide features Sheeran and Bollywood singer Arijit Singh having coffee.</p>
<p>"Sapphire" will be released on June 5. It is a part of Sheeran's album "Play."</p>
<p>Besides Khan and Singh, the "Bad Habits" singer also met music maestro A. R. Rahman, with whom he performed at his Chennai concert in February. Sheeran visited India for the first time in 2015. He returned to the country for another show in 2017 and later in 2019.</p>

<h3><strong>Bengaluru Police Halt Sheeran&rsquo;s Street Performance</strong></h3>
<p>Hours before his concert, Sheeran attempted an impromptu street performance on Church Street, but it was unexpectedly cut short by Bengaluru Police, who unplugged his speakers and stopped the show within a minute.</p>
<p>A viral video captured the moment when Sheeran had just begun performing before police officials intervened. Later, the singer clarified that his team had secured prior permission for the performance.</p>
<p>Speaking on the matter, Shekar T Tekkannanavar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Central Bengaluru, explained, "A member among the event organisers came to meet me to seek permission for the Streetside performance at Church Street. I refused to give permission because Church Street gets very crowded. That is the reason he was asked to vacate the place."</p>
<h3><strong>India Tour Continues with Star-Studded Collaborations</strong></h3>
<p>Sheeran&rsquo;s India tour has been filled with iconic musical moments. Before Bengaluru, he performed in Hyderabad and Chennai, where he shared the stage with legendary composer AR Rahman for a special rendition of the timeless hit Urvashi.</p>
<p>Ahead of the Chennai concert, Sheeran met AR Rahman and his son AR Ameen at their studio. Rahman later shared photos of their meet-up on Instagram, where Sheeran was seen posing and exploring the music console. The caption read, "Photos by Ed Sheeran."</p>

<p>Ed Sheeran kicked off his + - = / x (Mathematics India tour) with an enchanting show in Pune on January 30. Wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with 'Pune,' Ed celebrated the city, which sparked cheers from the crowd.&nbsp;</p>
<p>A special moment of the evening occurred when Sheeran paused to thank the audience. He shared that he had performed in India twice before, both times in Mumbai, and was thrilled to bring his music to new cities on this tour.&nbsp;</p>
<p>He also noted that every visit to India feels like he&rsquo;s exploring the country as a tourist, and he&rsquo;s always grateful for the opportunity to perform for Indian fans.</p>
<p>The India leg of the tour began with singer-actor Aditi Saigal aka Dot., known for The Archies, opening for Sheeran.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Pune concert saw the attendance of several English cricketers, including team captain Jos Buttler and all-rounder Liam Livingstone.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Jos Buttler, speaking with BookMyShow Live, expressed his excitement about touring in India, saying, "I have been coming to India for a long time. It is the best place to tour. Their love for the game is unmatched as compared to other places in the world. It is always a pleasure to come back, for IPL etc and to see the support of fans." He also shared his delight in being at Ed&rsquo;s concert, adding, "Great that the stars aligned and we were in Pune at the same time."</p>
<p>Ed Sheeran&rsquo;s Mathematics tour, organized by AEG Presents Asia and BookMyShow Live, will conclude on February 15 with a performance in Delhi-NCR.</p>

<p>The British pop-star has picked up a stake in Premier League club, Ipswich Town FC.</p>
<p>But why?</p>
<p>Well, Ed Sheeran grew up in Suffolk, England and has been a lifelong supporter of the city's football club, also known as 'The Tractor Boys.'</p>
<p>Now, to the deal &ndash; the Singer-Songwriter has bought a 1.4% stake in the club which was valued at around 260 million pounds in another deal earlier this year. While he won't get any voting rights or a seat on the club's board, he will get to use an executive box at the club's home ground Portman Road.</p>
<p>Reacting to the deal, Ed Sheeran said "It's any football fan's dream to be an owner of the club they support, and I feel so grateful for this opportunity."</p>
