Kapil Sharma hosts welcome party for Ed Sheeran, several Bollywood celebs attend the grand event

Ed Sheeran is on a roll. The ‘Shape of You’ singer seems to making most of his time in India. From meeting visiting a school in Mumbai to socialising with the Bollywood celebrities, Ed has kept himself busy ahead of his concert in Mumbai.

Kapil Sharma, who is all set to bring his brand new show to OTT, hosted a grand welcome party for the international singer. The star-studded welcome party was attended by newlywed Rakul Preet Singh-Jackky Bhagnani, Armaan Malik, Ahaan Panday, Esha Gupta, Bigg Boss fame Munawar Faruqui and many more.

Rakul Preet shared a picture with her husband Jackky Bhagnani and Ed Sheeran on her instagram with a caption, “what a warm guy”. Munawar Faruqui also posted two separate pictures with the international singer and host Kapil Sharma.

Earlier, the ‘Perfect’ singer mingled with Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, filmmaker Farah Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana and singer Armaan Malik. He also tried some moves as he learnt SRK’s iconic pose and grooved to ‘Butta Bomma’ with Armaan Malik.

About Sheeran’s concert in Mumbai

Ed Sheeran is all set to perform in Mumbai on March 16 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse Grounds. This will be his second concert in India which will open with a performance of Prateek Kuhad. The singer was in India in 2017 for his first concert.
