WhatsApp now lets you hide your online status from everyone

There's good news if you don't want people to know when you're online on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp now lets you hide your online status from everyone

WhatsApp has recently added more ways for its users to enhancer privacy. One feature is that you can now hide your online status.

A few months ago, WhatsApp started testing the ability to hide your online status from everyone. Now, all users on both iOS and Android can use this feature.

Users can already hide their last seen from everyone, contacts, or just a few chosen contacts. Or, you can choose to let everyone know when you were last seen. In that case, you will need to click on the fourth option under "Online Status Setting," which says "Nobody." There are only two ways to hide your online status: to everyone or to "same as last seen." So, you can set your last seen first, and then the same can be done for your online status. So, you can hide your WhatsApp online status from certain people or from all of your contacts.

In the last few months, WhatsApp has added a number of new privacy features. The company says that all chats on the platform are encrypted from end to end. This means that only the person who sent the message and the person who received it can read the chat and not even Meta has access to it.

WhatsApp recently also added some new features, such as the long-awaited Communities. The instant messaging platform also added some features for groups, such as video calling for up to 32 people, 1024 group members, and more. WhatsApp said that these features will be available in the coming months.
