WhatsApp Communities feature allows you to connect multiple groups together

The Communities feature has started to roll out on WhatsApp globally, and according to Meta, it will be available to everyone over the next few months.

Communities lets users connect multiple groups together under one umbrella. Once you’re in a community, you can easily switch between available groups to get the information you need, when you need it, and admins can send important updates to everyone in the Community.

Alongside communities, Whatsapp is also getting three more updates: the ability to create in-chat polls, 32 person video calling, and groups with up to 1024 users.

In the next few months, everyone will have access to WhatsApp's Communities feature, which is designed to assist employers, schools, local groups, and non-profit organisations.

On Android, the new Communities tab will appear at the top of users' chats, whereas on iOS, it will be at the bottom.

Communities would compete with WhatsApp's most formidable competitor, Telegram, and other private messaging apps, such as iMessage.
