Sony PlayStation VR2 hits Indian market: Explore price, specs, and availability now!

Sony offers two versions of the PlayStation VR2 in India. The standard edition is priced at Rs 57,999, and there's also a bundled edition with Horizon Call of the Mountain, which costs Rs 61,999. These prices are notably higher than in the US, where the device sells for $549.99. They are also more expensive than the PS5 console itself.

PlayStation VR2 Specifications

The PS VR2 specifications are quite impressive. It has OLED screens for each eye, each offering a resolution of 2000 x 2040. This resolution ensures clear and crisp visuals. The device also supports a high frame rate of 120Hz, which is great for smooth gaming experiences.

Another significant feature is its eye-tracking capability, thanks to built-in IR cameras. Plus, there are four cameras for tracking both the controllers and the headset.

This feature ensures accurate and responsive gameplay. The field of view (FOV) of the PlayStation VR2 is also noteworthy, now expanded to 110 degrees. This wider FOV allows for a more immersive experience.

The controllers for the PS VR2 are designed similarly to the PS5 DualSense controllers. They come with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, adding to the immersive nature of the games.

Gaming Experience with the PlayStation VR2

Since its launch, the PlayStation VR2 has been compatible with a variety of VR games. This includes popular titles like Gran Turismo 7, Horizon Call of the Mountain, and Resident Evil Village VR.

These games show the diverse range of experiences available for the PS VR2. With this expanding library, the PlayStation VR2 launch in India marks an exciting time for gamers in the country.

The arrival of the PlayStation VR2 in India is a significant event in the gaming world. Its advanced specifications and growing game library make it an attractive option for VR enthusiasts.

The pricing, though higher compared to the US market, reflects the advanced technology and features that Sony brings with the PS VR2. This launch is a testament to the growing interest in high-quality gaming experiences in India.
