Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra: Price in India and specifications

Samsung's flagship Galaxy S23 series has been launched in India.

Galaxy S23, S23 Plus & S23 Ultra price in India

The Galaxy S23 starts at ₹74,999 in India, the S23 Plus at ₹94,999, and the S23 Ultra at ₹1.24 lakh.

Galaxy S23, S23 Plus specifications

The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus have improved hardware and slight upgrades over its predecessors.

These phones have an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 512GB of internal storage, and 8GB of RAM.

The main camera on both phones is still a 50MP sensor, but it can now shoot 8K video at 30 frames per second. The 12MP ultra wide camera and the 10MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom remain essentially unchanged.

One improvement is the adoption of a 12MP selfie camera across all three versions. It now supports Super DR video recording at 60 frames per second.

The screens are Dynamic AMOLED with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 48-120hz. The smaller phone features a 6.1-inch display, and the plus has a 6.6-inch display.

However, the batteries have been increased by 200mAh, with the S23 having a 3,900 mAh unit and the S23 + having a 4,700 mAh one.

Galaxy S23 Ultra specifications

The new 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor on the S23 Ultra can merge 16 pixels into one for a 12 MP final resolution with 2.4 micro metre individually-sized pixels. It can also combine its pixels 4-to-1 and provide you with a 50MP image with additional detail to work with.

It also has a new video mode called Astro Hyperlapse. The new primary camera also features better video stabilisation than the previous camera, owing to Adaptive VDIS and its 2x larger OIS angle, which compensates for about 3° more than the S22 Ultra's 1.5°.

It gets the very same overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC as the S23, but it features 12GB of RAM as standard.

Otherwise, the S23 Ultra remains mostly the same, except it now has a boxier frame than its predecessor.
