Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G goes on sale in India - check specs, price & offers

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) 5G smartphone has gone on sale in India and brings flagship-level specs seen on the Galaxy S21 series.

Galaxy S21 FE price and availability

The Galaxy S21 FE is now available to purchase through Samsung.com and online retailers. It's available in two variants – the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at ₹54,999 and the 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage option costs ₹58,999.

However, Samsung is offering ₹5,000 cashback on HDFC Bank cards on both the variants of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G as part an introductory offer. This will bring down the effective ownership price of Galaxy S21 FE 5G to ₹49,999 for 8GB+128GB variant and ₹53999 for 8GB+256GB model. This offer will be applicable till January 17, 2022.

Galaxy S21 FE specifications

The Galaxy S21 FE is powered by a 5nm octa-core , Exynos 2100 chipset, which was also used in the Galaxy S21 series models in India.

The smartphone comes with up to 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. The Galaxy S21 FE runs One UI 4, based on Android 12.

The Galaxy S21 FE sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The under-display fingerprint sensor used here is optical, unlike the ultrasonic sensor used in the Galaxy S21 series.

For optics, the Galaxy S21 FE gets a triple rear camera setup, with a 12MP main wide camera that gets OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 123° field of view, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 30x Space Zoom support. On the front is a 32MP camera for selfies.

Keeping the lights on is a 4,500mAh battery, with support for 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. The phone also gets reverse wireless charging support. The Galaxy S21 FE is also IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
