Only verified Twitter accounts can vote in polls from April 15

Twitter is making more previously free features paid-exclusive. 

Elon Musk has announced that starting April 15, only verified Twitter accounts will be eligible to vote in polls, in an attempt to address the issue of advanced AI bot swarms.

Additionally, only verified accounts will be eligible for Twitter's For You recommendations, which displays tweets based on a user’s interests.

Verification requires a Twitter Blue subscription which starts at ₹650 per month in India. The social media company has not yet commented on Musk's latest announcement.
