Nothing Phone (1)'s latest update brings a host of camera improvements as well as a lot of bug fixes.

Nothing OS 1.1.4 update brings camera improvements and more

Nothing OS on the Nothing Phone (1) has been updated to version 1.1.4.

It includes a good number of camera changes, the most noteworthy of which is enhanced colour calibration for the ultra wide-angle camera, which now aligns with the primary camera.

Nothing has also used a new motion detection algorithm to improve steadiness while filming moving subjects. Furthermore, the brand has increased the ultra-wide camera's shooting speed when producing HDR photos.

In terms of new functionality, Nothing has now directly incorporated features from the Nothing Ear (1) app into Nothing OS. That means you won't have to go to the app to adjust and configure the wireless earbuds' settings.

Furthermore, the phone will now support LHDC high-definition audio. While it's a little change, you can now flip the phone's three-button navigation bar. Nothing OS 1.1.4 also includes the September 2022 Android security update as well as battery life improvements through enhancements to the phone's always-on display.

As usual, there are general bug updates, with Nothing OS version 1.1.4 fixing certain network difficulties with specific carriers. It also addresses a problem that caused incoming calls to be shown as an unknown contact, as well as a fingerprint issue with the HDFC Bank app.

Overall, this is a significant upgrade, with Nothing remaining devoted to its smartphone. It is currently rolling out over-the-air.
