Motorola G72 with 108MP camera launched in India

The Motorola G72 has been launched in the Indian market.

Moto G72 price in India is ₹18,999 for the only 6GB + 128GB storage configuration. The smartphone will be available in the colours Meteorite Grey and Polar Blue. It will be on sale on October 12 Flipkart.

However, the device will be offered at ₹14,999, inclusive of limited-time launch discounts. This includes a ₹3,000 exchange discount and a ₹1,000 immediate discount from specified banks.

On the software front, the Moto G72 is powered by Android 12 with the company's My UX overlay.

The smartphone features a 6.6-inch, FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 576Hz touch sampling rate. It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC which does not support 5G.

The Moto G72 is equipped with a triple back camera arrangement including a 108MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture lens. In addition, the smartphone features an 8MP ultra-wide angle and a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens.

The Moto G72 includes a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.45 aperture for selfies and video chats.

The device's connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, and GPS/ AGPS. For biometric authentication, onboard sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, light sensor, compass, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

The Moto G72 features a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W TurboPower quick charging.
