Xiaomi launches Redmi 12 with a massive display, triple cameras and more: Check details

Xiaomi has unveiled the highly-anticipated Redmi 12 smartphone, featuring an impressive 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a convenient punch-hole cutout for the front camera. Equipped with the powerful MediaTek Helio G88 processor, the Redmi 12 offers a seamless performance. It comes in 4GB or 8GB RAM options and offers generous storage choices of 128GB or 256GB, expandable via a microSD card.

The camera capabilities of the Redmi 12 are equally impressive, with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor on the rear, complemented by an 8MP front camera. Running on the Android 13-based MIUI 14 software, the device is fueled by a sizable 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Currently available in Thailand, the Redmi 12 is priced at an attractive $149 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The pricing and availability details for other storage options and markets, including India, will be announced soon.
