While the launch of the Xiaomi 14 in India was anticipated, Xiaomi took the market by surprise by also launching its highest-end model, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, today in India.

Xiaomi has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra in the Indian market.

Both phones come pre-installed with Android 14 with Xiaomi's custom HyperOS on top.

With their powerful specs, impressive displays, and upgraded cameras, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra aim to be competitive players in the flagship smartphone market.

Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Ultra Specs

Both phones boast impressive displays with high peak brightness and fast refresh rates.

The 14 features a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits, while the 14 Ultra ups the ante with a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED panel also reaching 3000 nits peak brightness.

Both models are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus (14) and Shield Glass (14 Ultra).

The camera systems have seen significant upgrades, with both phones sporting a triple-camera setup on the back.

The 14 features three 50MP sensors: a main wide sensor with a larger sensor and brighter aperture, a 3.2x telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens.

The 14 Ultra takes it a step further with its main camera, boasting an upgraded variable aperture, a larger 1-inch sensor, and improved low-light performance.

Both phones share the same 3.2x telephoto, and 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensors, however, the Ultra gets an additional 5x periscope telephoto lens. All rear cameras on both models have 50MP resolution.

The Xiaomi 14 features a 4,610mAh battery with fast 90W wired charging, while the 14 Ultra packs a 5,000mAh battery because of its larger screen. Both phones support 90W wired charging.

The base Xiaomi 14 has 50W wireless charging support, while the Ultra amps it up to 80W.
