Vivo has officially announced the launch date for its anticipated Vivo X100 series in China, which includes the Vivo X100 Ultra, X100s Pro, and the X100s. The launch is set for May 13, unveiling several advanced features and specifications, with an expected release in India shortly after.

The China launch event for the Vivo X100 series will take place at 7pm local time on May 13th. The product page is live in the country revealing features and other details of the upcoming Vivo X100 series. This lineup is tipped to bring substantial upgrades in terms of camera technology and performance capabilities.

The Vivo X100 Ultra is set to impress with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a pioneering 200-megapixel Zeiss APO super telephoto camera. This camera stands out with an f/2.67 aperture and a physical focal length of 22.48mm, capable of delivering a high-resolution output of 12888 x 16320. Further enhancing its photographic capabilities, it will include a 50MP 1″ LYT-900 primary camera.

Accompanying the Vivo X100 Ultra in this launch are the X100s Pro and X100s, both anticipated to feature the new Dimensity 9300+ processor, showcasing Vivo's commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology. The Vivo X100 Ultra is likely to start at a price of roughly Rs. 77,500 for the base model, whereas the X100s could begin at Rs. 46,200. The X100s Pro is expected to be priced around Rs. 57,000 for the initial variant.

Sales in India are anticipated to commence shortly after the China release, with the Vivo X100 Ultra going on sale from May 28 and the X100s models from May 17.
