The upcoming iQOO Z9x 5G is set to make its debut in India soon. The smartphone has already launched in China giving us an idea of the specs and features to be expected. Additionally, the company has shared new details on the design and colourway of the phone. Here’s all we know.

iQOO Z9x 5G: Specifications and Features Revealed

The iQOO Z9x 5G boasts interesting specifications that cater to both performance enthusiasts and casual users alike. The smartphone features a large 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2408×1080 pixels, ensuring clear and vibrant visuals. Its screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits, making it suitable for outdoor viewing.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 mobile platform, integrating an octa-core processor setup consisting of 4x A78 cores at 2.2GHz and 4x A55 cores at 1.8GHz. This is paired with the Adreno 710 GPU, which handles graphics-intensive tasks effortlessly.

The smartphone is available in several configurations with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1TB via a hybrid dual SIM slot.

Operating on Android 14 with FuntouchOS 14, the iQOO Z9x 5G offers a user-friendly interface with the latest software features. It sports a robust dual-camera system on the back, featuring a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

This setup is complemented by an LED flash and supports 4K video recording capabilities for the 8GB RAM variant. Additionally, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.05 aperture for selfies and video calls.

For security, the smartphone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 165.7×76×7.99mm and weighs 199g, making it a compact yet robust device. The iQOO Z9x 5G is also equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and is IP64 rated for dust and water resistance, ensuring durability.

iQOO Z9x 5G: Connectivity Options and Battery Life

Connectivity options are comprehensive, including 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. The device is powered by a large 6000mAh battery, supporting 44W fast charging to keep you connected throughout the day without frequent recharges.

The iQOO Z9x 5G introduces a distinct and appealing design, as revealed by Nipun Marya, the CEO of iQoo India. Highlighted in an official post on X (formerly Twitter), the smartphone features a modern aesthetic with a light green color option that includes a unique feather-like pattern on its back panel.

The design is characterized by a squarish, slightly raised camera module with rounded edges located at the top left corner, which houses two camera sensors and an LED flash unit. The right edge of the device is equipped with the power button and volume rockers, providing easy accessibility.

iQOO Z9x 5G launch date India is set for May 16th. The launch event will reveal more about the handset's specifications, closely resembling those of its Chinese counterpart. Notably, the smartphone will be available in a unique light green color option with a feather-like pattern on the back panel.

iQOO Z9x 5G: Pricing and Availability Details

Scheduled to be available on Amazon, the pricing of the iQOO Z9x 5G is expected to mirror that of the Vivo T3x, starting at approximately Rs. 13,499. Official pricing will be confirmed closer to the launch date.
