Samsung Galaxy S24 rumours: Super bright display, bigger battery, and more

According to rumours, the Galaxy S24 will have the brightest display in the industry, with a peak brightness of 2500 nits.

Samsung Galaxy S24 rumours: Super bright display, bigger battery, and more

As we approach the end of 2023, smartphone enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the next wave of flagship phones set to be released in early 2024.

Among the highly-anticipated devices are the OnePlus 12, iQOO 12, and Samsung's Galaxy S24 series. Recent leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S24 could potentially revolutionise the display quality, battery capacity, and overall user experience.

Galaxy S24: Brightest Display and LTPO Panel

Rumours indicate that the standard model of the Samsung Galaxy S24 will feature the brightest display ever seen on a Samsung phone.

With a peak brightness of 2,500nits, users can expect enhanced visibility even under harsh sunlight.

To further optimise power consumption, the device is rumoured to come equipped with an LTPO panel.

This technology allows the display to automatically switch between a refresh rate of 48 Hz or 120Hz, providing a seamless scrolling and navigating experience while conserving battery life.

Design and Camera

According to leaks, Samsung may stick with the design language of its previous Galaxy S23 series for the upcoming Galaxy S24.

This means the device could feature a flat screen and the iconic floating rear camera design. The camera module is expected to house three sensors directly on the back panel, offering a sleek and minimalist aesthetic.

Galaxy S24 Battery Capacity

One area where the Galaxy S24 is set to see an improvement is its battery capacity. Reports suggest that Samsung will introduce a 4,000mAh battery with the standard model.

This represents a significant upgrade compared to its predecessors, the Galaxy S22 and S23, which offered battery capacities of 3,700mAh and 3,900mAh, respectively.

The larger battery capacity should provide users with extended usage time, particularly for those with the Plus and Ultra models, which have larger screens.

Powerful Processor

The Samsung Galaxy S24 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

This powerful processor is anticipated to deliver improved performance and efficiency, augmenting the overall user experience. The Snapdragon chip has been a staple in Samsung's flagship devices and has proven to be a capable performer in the past.
