South Korean tech giant Samsung has introduced two new mid-range smartphones to the Indian market: the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and Samsung Galaxy A55 5G.

Both devices boast large, smooth displays and powerful processors, targeting users seeking a balance between affordability and performance.

The Galaxy A35 5G and A55 5G share a common feature set in many areas. They both sport a large 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth user experience.

Under the hood, they are powered by Samsung's Exynos processors, with the A35 5G featuring the Exynos 1380 and the A55 5G boasting the upgraded Exynos 1480 processor. Both phones come with memory options ranging from 6GB to 12GB of RAM and storage options of either 128GB or 256GB.

The camera systems differ slightly between the two models. The Galaxy A35 5G features a triple-lens rear camera setup with a main sensor of 50MP, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor.

The front-facing camera for selfies is 13MP. The Galaxy A55 5G upgrades the ultra-wide sensor to 12MP and the front-facing camera to a higher resolution of 32MP.

Both phones run on Samsung's OneUI 6 based on the latest Android 14 operating system, promising extended software support with four future Android version upgrades and five years of security updates. They pack a long-lasting 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging (charger sold separately).

Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an IP67 dust and water resistance rating.
