Realme Narzo 60x 5G First Impression: Best 5G budget phone? Check price, specs, pros and Cons

In a market brimming with innovation and fierce competition, the Narzo series from Realme has carved a notable niche for itself. The latest entrant in this lineup, the Realme Narzo 60x 5G, seems to be identical to the recently launched Reame 11x 5G.

Both phones share almost the same specs, but a notable deviation is evident in their camera configurations, with the 11X offering a higher 64-megapixel primary camera compared to the 50MP variant on the Narzo 60x.

Before we delve deeper, let us take a preliminary look at the device and discuss various aspects like Realme Narzo 60x 5G specifications and Realme Narzo 60x 5G price, amongst others.

Realme Narzo 60x 5G Design and Display

At a mere 7.89mm thickness, the Realme Narzo 60x 5G aims to offer a sleek yet robust profile. Drawing inspiration from the galaxies, the Stellar Green colour is a nod to the users who prefer their phones to be a style statement.

Complementing the stylish design is this 6.72-inch display with an FHD+ resolution and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling. The provision for intelligent adjustment of refresh rate based on the usage scenario could potentially offer a good balance between performance and battery consumption.

Realme Narzo 60x 5G Battery

Speaking of battery, the Realme Narzo 60x features a hefty 5000mAh battery, paired with a 33W SUPERVOOC charge technology. This duo promises to not only provide a long-lasting battery life but also significantly reduce the charging time, potentially reaching 50% charge in just 29 minutes.

A set of smart algorithms are at work here, optimizing the charging process to maintain battery health and efficiency.

Realme Narzo 60x Processor

At the core of this smartphone lies a 6-nanometer MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset, forming the backbone of the Realme Narzo 60x 5G processor.

Accompanying this robust chipset is up to 6GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128GB, facilitating a smooth performance even during the preliminary usage. A more detailed exploration would be essential to evaluate its overall performance in real-world scenarios.

Realme Narzo 60x 5G Software

As for software, the Narzo 60X runs on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0. It's a slick and fast interface for the most part but we did notice a decent amount of pre-installed apps; fortunately, the majority of these can be removed without any issues.

Realme Narzo 60x 5G Camera

When it comes to the Realme Narzo 60x 5G camera, the device boasts a dual-rear camera arrangement led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Initial snapshots indicate satisfactory results, particularly in well-lit environments. The smartphone also supports video recording at 1080p 30fps and includes a secondary 2-megapixel sensor for portrait photography. Although the absence of an ultra-wide lens is noticeable, the 8-megapixel front-facing camera seems to fulfill its role competently, especially in ample lighting conditions

Realme Narzo 60x Price and Availability

The Realme Narzo 60x price in India is set at Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB + 128GB version, while the 6GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 14,499. The smartphone will be up for grabs from September 15 at 12 PM IST, accessible via the Realme official website and Amazon. Additionally, an exclusive live commerce sale is slated for September 12 at 12 PM IST, presenting an early opportunity to secure this device.
