Realme GT 5 Teased Ahead of Launch: What to Expect

Realme, the popular smartphone manufacturer, has started teasing the official launch of the highly anticipated Realme GT 5. While the exact release date is yet to be revealed, the company has created a buzz by sharing the news on Chinese social media platform Weibo.

This upcoming device, previously anticipated as the Realme GT Neo 6, is expected to make its debut in China before reaching global markets.

Realme GT 5 Launch Tease

Realme has officially teased the launch of the Realme GT 5 by sharing a poster on Weibo, as reported by renowned tipster Mukul Sharma. While the poster doesn't reveal much information, it confirms the phone's name.

It is worth noting that if the Realme GT 5 and the Realme GT Neo 6 are indeed the same device, we can gather insights into its design and expected specifications.

Realme GT 5 and Realme GT Neo 6: One and the Same

According to reliable leakster OnLeaks, the long-rumoured Realme GT Neo 6 will be unveiled as the Realme GT 5. If this information holds true, we can have a glimpse of the phone's design and key features based on earlier leaked renders.

Realme GT 5 Design and Key Specifications (Leaked)

Leaked renders of the Realme GT Neo 6 showcased a distinctive camera module occupying the top third of the phone's rear.

The module comprises two circular camera cutouts, with the top one likely housing the primary sensor and the bottom one accommodating two additional sensors. The module also highlights the presence of Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

Expected specifications for the Realme GT 5 include a 6.74-inch 144Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 16GB RAM, a 50MP primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), and the latest Android 13 operating system.

Rumours have suggested that the phone will offer two fast charging options: a 150W variant and a 240W variant.
