Realme GT 2 Pro confirmed, will be Realme’s ‘first and most premium’ flagship

Realme CEO and Founder Sky Li has confirmed the moniker for the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone, calling it the company’s ‘first and most premium’ flagship smartphone. The phone’s design and specifications have been leaked by tipster OnLeaks, in collaboration with 91Mobiles.

Realme GT 2 Pro design

The Realme GT 2 Pro’s supposed design is a departure from Realme’s usual design language. The most evident feature is a horizontal bar across the back that houses the camera module, in a design much like the Nexus 6P. In the leaked renders, the phone carries three lenses on the back, and a dual flash.

In the leak, the back material looks like it’s made out of ceramic, while the frame around the device looks to be made of metal.

According to OnLeaks, the Realme GT 2 Pro is expected to include a 6.8-inch WQHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, the upcoming flagship SoC from Qualcomm. It could come with up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT 2 Pro could feature a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto camera. On the front, there could be a 32MP selfie camera.

The battery capacity of the smartphone is not yet known, but it could come with 125W fast charging support.
