OPPO A18 launched in India with new variant 4GB + 128GB: Check Price, availability, and specifications

OPPO has launched a new variant of its entry-level smartphone, the OPPO A18, in India. The new model features 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and is priced at Rs. 11,499.

This latest offering is an upgrade from the initial 64GB storage version, designed to meet the growing demand for higher storage smartphones at an accessible price point.

OPPO A18 Pricing and Availability Details

The pricing strategy set by OPPO for its latest gadget is poised to make waves in the smartphone market. The OPPO A18 4GB 128GB price in India is competitively set at Rs 11,499, making it an attractive offer for budget-conscious consumers seeking quality features.

It's noteworthy that this new variant is not just available for purchase but also listed for pre-order on the official OPPO website and on Flipkart, broadening the purchase avenues for customers.

Moreover, the OPPO A18 4GB 128GB availability in India is not a future promise but a current reality. With shipments starting from October 25th, the wait for eager customers is short.

OPPO further enhances the deal with a Rs 1,000 discount on transactions made with certain cards, coupled with a no-cost EMI option, making the purchase easier on the wallet. Those preferring the earlier 64GB model can still find it retailing at Rs 9,999, with color options including Glowing Black and Glowing Blue.

OPPO A18 Specifications

Diving into the OPPO A18 4GB 128GB specifications, the smartphone boasts a sizable 6.56-inch IPS LCD display, promising clear, high-definition visuals enriched by a 90Hz refresh rate. This feature ensures a smooth, lag-free screen experience, whether scrolling through social media or watching videos.

Powering the OPPO A18 is the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, backed by a Mali G52 MC2 GPU. This hardware configuration is not just about providing sufficient operational efficiency; it’s also about enhancing the user's experience through smooth navigation and app usage.

With 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, the device can handle most apps and multitasking scenarios. The standout feature, however, is the 128GB storage space, expandable via a microSD card, providing ample room for photos, apps, and files.

The smartphone runs on the Android 13 platform, topped with ColorOS 13.1.1, adding exclusive features and an intuitive user interface. Camera capabilities include a dual setup on the rear: an 8MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

These are engineered for quality photos, even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions, thanks to an LED flash. A 5MP front camera is in place for selfies and video interactions.

Battery life is often the deciding factor for many smartphone purchases, and the OPPO A18 doesn't disappoint with its 5,000mAh battery. It promises long hours of use, whether for calls, music, videos, or browsing.

The connectivity options are robust, including 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS support, ensuring the device stays connected in various environments. A 3.5mm jack and USB Type-C port cover audio and charging needs.

Wrap Up

This model's introduction signifies OPPO's understanding of market demands, offering more without a hefty price tag. It stands as a testament to OPPO's continual evolution in sync with consumer needs and technological advancements.
