OnePlus has commenced the rollout of OxygenOS 14, the latest iteration of its operating system, delivering a host of new features and enhancements for users. Here's a breakdown of the devices set to receive this update, along with key features introduced by OxygenOS 14.

List of OnePlus Devices Receiving the Update

Several OnePlus devices are now eligible for the OxygenOS 14 update. These include the OnePlus Open, OnePlus Pad, OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 10R, OnePlus 10T, OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 9RT, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus Nord 2T, OnePlus Nord N30 SE, OnePlus Nord N30, OnePlus Nord N20 SE, OnePlus Nord N20, OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, and OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G. The rollout process is incremental, with updates reaching users in stages.

How to Check for Updates on Your OnePlus Device

To check if your OnePlus device has received the OxygenOS 14 update, users can navigate to Settings > System > System updates and tap “Check for Updates. OnePlus assures that updates are progressively deployed, initially to a limited user group, before extending to all users.

      OxygenOS 14 Features

OxygenOS 14 brings a plethora of innovative features designed to enhance user experience and productivity. Among the notable additions is the Trinity Engine, a sophisticated performance optimization software that integrates six proprietary technologies.

These include HyperTouch, HyperRendering, RAM vitalization, ROM vitalization, and HyperBoost, working in tandem to optimize hardware and software synergy.

With the Trinity Engine, users can expect consistent performance over extended periods, addressing challenges such as power consumption and performance fluctuations.

Another significant feature introduced in OxygenOS 14 is the File Dock, streamlining productivity by enabling seamless transfer of text or files between applications. By simply dragging text or files to File Dock, users can efficiently paste them into the desired application, enhancing workflow efficiency.

Additionally, OxygenOS 14 enhances user convenience with features like Global Search, Auto Pixelate 2.0, and Smart Suggestions. Global Search provides enhanced search functionality, allowing users to scour through their device for various content types, while Auto Pixelate 2.0 obscures sensitive information in screenshots to bolster privacy.

Smart Suggestions surface important information from select services on the lock screen and notification share, minimizing the need for manual searches and interactions.

Furthermore, OxygenOS 14 prioritizes security and privacy with features such as the Unified Security Dashboard and enhanced app permission management. The Unified Security Dashboard provides users with granular control over security and privacy settings, consolidating app permissions and system access.

With integrated security patches and enhanced app permission management, OxygenOS 14 fortifies system stability and safeguards user data against potential threats or vulnerabilities.

Additionally, OxygenOS 14 introduces more lock screen shortcuts and app-specific language control, further enhancing device accessibility and personalization.
