The upcoming Moto G64 will be a lower mid-range smartphone, and it will be the first device in India to be powered by the Dimensity 7025 chipset.

Motorola has officially revealed the specifications of its upcoming Moto G64 5G ahead of its scheduled launch.

Set to launch on April 16, 2024, the G64 5G is equipped with Android 14, boasting the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor with a 2.5GHz octa-core CPU. The device will receive an OS upgrade to Android 15 and is supported by three years of security updates.

Users can expect good performance with options for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage capacities of 128GB or 256GB, expandable up to 1TB via microSD.

Display and Design

The Moto G64 5G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display, with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone sports dimensions of 161.56 x 73.82 x 8.89mm and weighs around 192 grams.

It's going to be available in three colours: Mint Green, Pearl Blue, and Ice Lilac. The body is crafted from 3D Premium PMMA, complemented by an IP52 water-repellent design.

Cameras

The primary sensor is a 50MP main rear camera with Quad Pixel technology, OIS, and PDAF. The camera software includes features like Night Vision, Pro Mode, and HDR among others. Video capabilities include FHD recording and efficient stabilisation features.

The front camera offers a 16MP sensor, equipped with features like Dual Capture and Portrait Mode, enhancing selfie experiences.

Audio and Connectivity

The Moto G64 5G does not compromise on sound with its stereo speakers featuring Dolby Atmos and Moto Spatial Sound.

Connectivity is robust with support for 14 5G bands, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and dual-band Wi-Fi. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and multiple microphones, ensuring high-quality audio inputs and outputs.

Battery Life and Charging

With a substantial 6,000mAh battery, the G64 5G supports prolonged usage. The package includes a 33W charger.
