Motorola expands its budget-friendly smartphone series with the introduction of the Moto G Power 5G (2024) and Moto G 5G (2024).

Both phones deliver compelling value in the North American market, offering smooth displays and long battery life. The primary distinctions between the two models lie in their processors and pricing.

Moto G Power 5G (2024) and Moto G 5G (2024) Price and Availability

The Moto G Power 5G (2024) arrives with an MSRP of $299.99 (approximately Rs 24,854) in the United States and will be available starting March 22nd.

Canadian consumers can purchase the device via motorola.ca beginning on April 12th. The phone will be universally unlocked for broader compatibility and available on Motorola's website and Amazon starting March 29th.

For those on a tighter budget, the Moto G 5G (2024) carries an attractive price tag of $199.99 (approximately Rs 16,569) in the U.S and will be on sale from March 21st.

Canadians will also have access to the phone via motorola.ca as well as through universally unlocked sales on the official website and Amazon starting May 2nd.

Moto G Power 5G (2024) Specifications

This model boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Motorola's My UX customization layer runs atop Android 14. Photography enthusiasts will find a 50MP primary camera with Quad Pixel technology as well as an 8MP wide-angle lens. Selfies are handled by a 16MP front-facing camera. A large 5,000mAh battery powers the device and supports both 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Moto G 5G (2024) Specifications

This slightly smaller device sports a 6.6-inch 120Hz FHD+ display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor. It has less RAM at 4GB and the same 128GB of expandable storage.

The camera boasts a similar 50MP main shooter but trades the wide-angle lens for a 2MP macro camera. A 5,000mAh battery keeps things running smoothly but with slightly slower 18W wired charging.

Additional Features

Both Motorola phones offer features like stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, side-mounted fingerprint scanners, and the latest connectivity options like 5G.
