Motorola has launched two new TWS earbuds in India, the Moto Buds and Moto Buds+.

These earbuds boast features like Hi-Res Audio certification, dynamic active noise cancellation (ANC), and water-repellent designs.

Price in India, launch offers, and availability

The Moto Buds are priced at ₹4,999 with an instant discount of ₹1,000 for ICICI Bank credit card users, bringing the effective price down to ₹3,999.

They are currently available in three colour options – Coral Peach, Glacier Blue, and Starlight Blue.

The Moto Buds+, on the other hand, are priced at ₹9,999 with an ICICI Bank credit card discount bringing the price down to ₹7,999.

These are available in Beach Sand and Forest Grey colourways. Both models can be purchased via Flipkart in India.

Specifications and features

The key difference between the two models lies in their drivers. The Moto Buds use a single 12.4mm dynamic driver, while the Moto Buds+ boat dual drivers – an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter.

Both offer ANC, with the Moto Buds reaching up to 50dB and the Moto Buds+ reaching 46dB.

They also share three preset noise cancellation modes (Transparency, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation) and triple microphone systems for improved call clarity.

The Moto Buds+ stand out with "Sound by Bose" certification, suggesting audio tuning by the renowned audio equipment manufacturer.

Additionally, they offer Dolby Head Tracking for adjusting audio based on head movements and support Dolby Atmos.

Both models boast Hi-Res Audio certification and come with a Moto Buds application for customising touch controls and sound equalisation (currently only available on Android).

Battery life differs slightly between the two. The Moto Buds offer up to 42 hours total with the charging case, while the Moto Buds+ offer 38 hours. Playback time with ANC off is rated at 9 hours for Moto Buds and 8 hours for Moto Buds+.

Both support quick charging, with 10 minutes providing 2 hours of playback for Moto Buds and 3 hours for Moto Buds+.

The charging cases utilise USB Type-C charging, with the Moto Buds+ case offering the additional benefit of wireless charging.
