The iQOO 12 5G is set to be an impressive flagship smartphone with powerful specifications and a notable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

iQOO 12 5G India launch date confirmed: All you need to know

iQOO has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the iQOO 12 5G, in India. The highly anticipated successor to the iQOO 11 will be unveiled on December 12, 2023.

The launch event will see the brand introducing the iQOO 12 to Indian consumers, accompanied by a BMW Motorsport special edition model. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon after its official unveiling.

First Phone in India Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

One of the key features of the iQOO 12 5G is its powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. iQOO has confirmed that the phone will be the first in India to be equipped with this cutting-edge processor.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is expected to deliver exceptional performance and enhance overall user experience.

iQOO 12 5G Specifications

It is said to feature a large 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE OLED display with a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The display will offer a peak brightness of 3000 nits, ensuring vibrant and vivid visuals.

Under the hood, the iQOO 12 is rumoured to pack up to 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of internal storage, providing users with ample space for their apps, games, and media files.

In terms of its camera capabilities, the iQOO 12 5G is said to boast a powerful camera setup.

It is rumoured to sport a 50MP OmniVision OV50H primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens.

To keep the device running throughout the day, the iQOO 12 5G is expected to house a large 5,000mAh battery.

And when it comes to charging, users can expect lightning-fast speeds thanks to the support for 120W fast charging.

iQOO 12 Pro Unlikely to Launch in India

While the iQOO 12 5G is set to make its debut in India, the iQOO 12 Pro is unlikely to be released in the country. This information is based on the fact that the iQOO 11 Pro did not make it to the Indian market. It appears that the iQOO 12 Pro will be exclusive to China.
