iPhone 16 display production to begin in June: Key features, and September launch confirmed

Apple's iPhone 16 series has been the subject of numerous leaks and rumors, generating significant anticipation among tech enthusiasts for its upcoming launch. Recent reports reveal key updates on the iPhone 16 display production, expected features, and launch timeline.

iPhone 16 Series Latest Leak- Details

According to a post on X by display analyst Ross Young, the display production for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro will commence in June. This production phase is anticipated to yield the highest volume of displays produced in the month. Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a 6.9-inch display, a notable increase from its predecessor's 6.7-inch screen. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro will see an increase to a 6.3-inch display, up from 6.1 inches. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will maintain their current sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively.

Ross Young's leak further confirms that iPhone 16 display production is on track to support a traditional September launch. Display panels for the iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Plus will see ramped-up production later in the summer.

iPhone 16 Pro Max Leaked Images Reveal Design

Leaked images of the iPhone 16 Pro Max shared by tech leakster Daniel reveal the phone's design, showing minimal differences in screen dimensions compared to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 Pro Max appears to retain a Titanium body, with a potential new vertical camera lens arrangement. This new orientation might enable the standard iPhone 16 models to capture Spatial Video for the Vision Pro headset.

iPhone 16 Series Expected Specs and Features

The iPhone 16 series is expected to feature several significant upgrades. Rumors suggest the inclusion of new A-series chipsets built on the latest N3E 3-nanometer node, with higher-end chips exclusive to the iPhone 16 Pro models.

Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max might include a new Capture Button for taking photos and videos, alongside the Action Button from the previous generation.

The iPhone 16 models are anticipated to include upgraded camera features, Wi-Fi 7, and advanced 5G modems.
