Google is reportedly making strides in the development of a Pixel-exclusive AI assistant, codenamed Pixie, set to launch alongside the anticipated Pixel 9 series in 2024.

This AI assistant is expected to revolutionise user assistance by harnessing the capabilities of various Google products and services, such as Gmail and Maps, to offer highly personalised support.

      Advanced and Personalised Assistance

The Pixie AI assistant is rumoured to be designed to integrate data from multiple Google services, enabling it to provide users with more personalised and sophisticated assistance.

Its functions could include directing users to nearby stores where they can purchase photographed products, showcasing the potential for multi-modal activities and a highly tailored user experience.

      Expanding Reach and Functionality

Beyond the flagship Pixel 9 series, Google intends to expand the reach of Pixie to lower-end phones, as well as other devices like wearables.

While details on the availability for existing smartphones remain unclear, the expansion strategy indicates the potential for a wider adoption of Pixel-exclusive AI technology across various Google-supported devices in the future.

Setting New Standards for AI Assistance

The introduction of Pixie as a Pixel-exclusive AI assistant, along with the projected features of the upcoming Pixel 9 series, signifies Google's commitment to advancing the capabilities and functionality of its devices.
