Realme has unveiled the Realme GT 5 official renders, revealing the Realme GT 5 design of the upcoming device, set to launch on August 28th. These renders also validate some of the phone's specifications, including an impressive 250W fast charging variant.

      Realme GT 5 Design

The renders showcase the device in a metallic silver shade, featuring two prominent camera rings and an adjacent translucent panel that sports an LED light, reminiscent of the one on the Realme GT Neo 3. One camera ring houses two sensors, bringing the total count of rear cameras to three. Additionally, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 logo is visible through the panel.

Realme has also announced the Realme GT 5 battery capacity and confirmed support for up to 240W GaN charging. Here’s a rundown of everything we know and anticipate:

      Realme GT 5 Specifications (Expected)

Processor and Memory: The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, complemented by Adreno 740 graphics. This robust combination is likely to be supported by up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, ensuring smooth performance and ample storage space.

Display: The Realme GT 5 is speculated to feature a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2160 PWM dimming to control flicker, and an in-built fingerprint scanner. An independent X7 display chip may also be included to optimize video frame rates.

Camera Setup: The front camera is anticipated to be a 16MP sensor, suitable for selfies and video calls. The rear camera setup may consist of a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor (with OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.

Battery and Charging: Two variants of the device are expected. One may feature a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging capability, enabling 2 hours of talk time from a mere 30-second charge. The other variant may boast a larger 5,240mAh battery with 150W fast charging support.

Realme has also integrated a specialized power management chip called SuperVOOC S to ensure battery safety and efficiency. The device will also feature a USB Type-C charging port.

      Wrap up

While the Realme GT 5 features and specifications outlined here are based on the official renders and company announcements, the final product may differ slightly. For a complete and accurate understanding of the device, stay tuned for its official launch on August 28th.
