Apple Event September 12, 2023: Apple's much-anticipated Wonderlust event has now ended, and the company announced six new products: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 9, and Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Let's take a brief look at all of these new products and see what they have to offer.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus
On the standard iPhone 15, there is a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. The iPhone 15 Plus, on the other hand, sports a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display.
Both iPhone models with the Dynamic Island notch support Dolby Vision. Furthermore, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus feature an average brightness of 1,600 nits and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
According to Apple, the two iPhone 15 models are made of 75% aluminium, have colour-infused glass on the back, ceramic protection, and are water and dust-resistant. The batteries in the two iPhones are made entirely of recycled cobalt.
The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus both have dual rear cameras with 48MP primary lenses and quad-pixel sensor technology, as well as 12MP telephoto sensors.
The front-facing TrueDepth cameras on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are 12MP. Additionally, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus provide improved computational photography, 2X telephoto zoom, and portrait depth control.
Smart HDR will also be supported by the front and rear cameras. Machine learning techniques were used to improve call audio quality.
The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus include a second-generation ultra-wideband (UWB) chipset, which improves Precision Finding to help you find friends.
The two iPhone models also finally come with USB Type-C connectors.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus Price
The iPhone 15 price in India begins at ₹79,900, which is the same as the iPhone 14's launch price. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Plus costs ₹89,900 and up.
Pre-orders start on September 15, with sales starting from September 22.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
Titanium, Apple's "most premium material" ever, is utilised in the iPhone 15 Pro series. This substance imparts "incredible" durability to Pro models and makes them lighter.
The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max feature the world's smallest bezels and rounded edges. Apple claims that the new Pro models employ the most durable glass-based materials.
The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max feature displays measuring 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively, and a more durable "grade 5 titanium" exterior.
Apple asserts that it utilised a novel thermomechanical method to join the aluminium and titanium components of the new Pro models.
Apple spent as much as 14 hours on the iPhone 15 Pro coatings. White, black, blue, and natural are the colours available for the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
A new internal architecture using 100% recyclable aluminium makes the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max more repairable, according to Apple.
Apple has enhanced the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 15 Pro. Dynamic Island now provides visual feedback.
Super Retina XDR Displays with ProMotion continue to be available on Pro models. Apple asserts that the displays have a high dynamic range and an Always-On Display.
Apple has added an Action Button to the new iPhone Pro models, which are otherwise identical to last year's models.
The new Action button can be assigned to the camera, voice recorder, or any accessibility feature, replacing the toggle that controls the iPhone's ring and silent modes. Similar to an AssistiveTouch in physical form. Simply depress it to reprogram it.
The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are powered by a new A17 Bionic chip based on Apple Silicon. It is the "industry's first 3nm chip," with 19 billion transistors and a 6-core CPU, according to the company. Two high-performance and four high-efficiency CPUs are present.

The iPhone 15 Pro price in India begins at ₹1,34,900, which is marginally more than the iPhone 14 Pro's launch price. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max costs ₹1,59,900 and up.
Apple Watch Series 9
The new S9 SiP chip in the Apple Watch Series 9 features 60% more transistors than the S8 series chip. It has a 4-core NPU and a GPU that is 30% faster.
This device boasts an 18-hour battery life and speeds up the operating system with faster animations.
The S9 chipset also handles Siri requests on-device, which speeds up results by reducing the need for the cloud. Apple claims that voice dictation will be 25% more accurate. Siri now has access to your Health data, making it easy to track your progress.
Double Tap could be the coolest new feature in Series 9. Like the Apple Vision Pro headset, this new pinch motion employs your thumb and index finger.
Blood flow fluctuations are detected by accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. You can play/pause music, snooze alarms, navigate widgets, and answer/hang up phone calls with Double Tap.
Bluetooth and cellular trims are available in 41mm and 45mm sizes for the Apple Watch Series 9. For late-night viewing, the display may now exceed 2000 nits and 1 nit.
The Watch 9 now has a new UWB chip for improved location tracking. Finding and pinging your related iPhone is even more precise. You will also benefit from improved HomePod integration.

Pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 9 begin in India starting at ₹41,900 today, with general sales beginning on September 22.
Apple Watch Ultra 2
Along with the updated UWB chip for enhanced location tracking, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 receives the same new Apple S9 SiP and Double Tap gesture capabilities as the Apple S9.
It's still a tower of a watch with its 49mm case and 1.92-inch LTPO OLED display, which now has a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
Like its predecessor, the battery life is rated at 36 hours, but it can now be extended to 72 hours in low-power mode.
The Modular Ultra watch face on the Watch Ultra 2 provides consumers with the most information by utilising the display's outer border. Night mode can now be activated automatically by the ambient light sensor.
WatchOS 10 addresses the software front, and you can now use Bluetooth to connect with cycling peripherals such as power metre pedals for reliable data.

AirPods Pro with USB-C
Apple also low-key introduced AirPods Pro second-generation with a USB-C port. Except for the USB-C port, there is nothing new on the AirPods Pro.
