Boat Nirvana Ivy Review: The Boat Nirvana Ivy just launched in India and are priced at ₹2,999. These Bluetooth earbuds offer a compelling combination of features and affordability. In this review, we'll dive into the Nirvana Ivy's performance, design, and battery life to see if they deliver on their promise.

Boat Nirvana Ivy Design

They come in a sleek gunmetal white colour with a boxy design, and you can carry them easily in your pocket. The thud of the lid is not that great, but the overall design looks good and even the design of the earbuds are good. Also the build quality is good too.

Boat Nirvana Ivy Connectivity

In terms of connectivity, The Boat Nirvana Ivy comes with Bluetooth 5.3. Dual connection is also available on both devices. Nirvana Ivy features Multipoint Connectivity, allowing users to switch between devices effortlessly. When it comes to quick pairing, Google Fast Pair is available.

It allows your earbuds to instantly connect to your Android device with just a tap, similar to the way AirPods work with iPhones. These earbuds have wear detection, which is always a nifty feature!

The Nirvana’s connect to your phone via the Boat Hearable app, which is easy to use. It is available on both Android and iOS.

These come with customisable tap gestures, which works fine. But the ability to control volume directly from the earbuds is a welcome feature.

Boat Nirvana Ivy Sound

Now, let's talk about sound. These earbuds come with 11mm drivers and Boat's signature sound gives you bass but this time they tried to tear it down so that they sound more of a balanced side.

Out of the box, these earbuds have a bass-heavy sound tuning, which is to be expected by Boat. However, the Boat Nirvana Ivy Pros still manage to keep the mids quite clear. When it comes to customising the sound you can use their Adaptive EQ.

They also support Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), which is powered by artificial intelligence to ensure clarity during voice calls.

Boat Nirvana Ivy Spatial Audio & ANC

The Spatial Audio technology utilises advanced algorithms, to envelop the user in sound from all directions. The Dynamic Head Tracking adjusts audio in real-time based on head movements. The inclusion of 50dB Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) ensures crystal clear sound by minimising external noise.

Boat Hearable App

Integration with the BoatHearable App offering customizable audio settings and seamless connectivity. You can also customise the touch functions of the earbuds from the app itself. Additionally you can turn noise cancellation ON and Off.

Boat Nirvana Ivy Battery

The device promises a substantial 50-hour total playtime, with individual earbuds offering up to 11 hours of use with ANC off at 60% volume. The ASAP Charge feature provides 240 minutes of playtime with just a 10-minute charge, ensuring sustained entertainment.

Boat Nirvana Ivy Availability

The Nirvana Ivy TWS is available in three colours and can be purchased on Boat’s website, as well as on major platforms like Flipkart and Amazon. It will also be stocked at major retail stores including Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales starting 4th September 2024.
