Dell Brings the XPS Series Back to India, Alongside New AI PCs and Alienware Laptops

Dell has revived the XPS brand in India with the XPS 13, and also launched the Dell 14S, Dell 16S and Alienware 15 in India with AI features, premium designs. The prices for the new laptops start at ₹79,990.

Dell Brings the XPS Series Back to India, Alongside New AI PCs and Alienware Laptops

Dell Technologies has expanded its premium consumer laptop portfolio in India with the launch of a refreshed lineup spanning the XPS, Dell and Alienware brands. Headlining the announcement is the new XPS 13, which Dell says is the thinnest and lightest XPS laptop it has ever built, alongside the new Dell 14S, Dell 16S and the latest Alienware 15 gaming laptop.

The new portfolio reflects Dell's broader push to make premium computing more accessible across different price segments. The company is targeting a wide range of users, including students, professionals, creators and gamers, while also expanding its reach into tier-II and tier-III cities through its retail network.

Dell XPS 13 Focuses On Portability

Leading the lineup is the new XPS 13, a 1kg ultraportable laptop housed in a CNC-machined aluminium chassis that's just 12.7mm thick. Dell claims it offers up to 17 hours of streaming battery life while retaining the premium build quality the XPS series is known for.

The laptop is powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors, with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 configurations expected to arrive later. Buyers can configure the system with up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory, while display options include a 2.5K InfinityEdge touchscreen with 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, up to 500 nits brightness, adaptive 30Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Atmos-tuned quad speakers. Wi-Fi 7 support is also included as standard.

Dell 14S And 16S Add Copilot+ AI Features

Alongside the XPS, Dell introduced the 14S and 16S, positioning them as AI-powered productivity laptops built around Microsoft's Copilot+ PC platform.

The laptops are available with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 or AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors, delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. Dell says the Intel-powered 16S also offers a 55% graphics performance improvement over the previous generation. Both laptops feature slim metal designs, OLED display options with up to 120Hz refresh rates, Dolby Vision support and a wide selection of USB Type-C, USB Type-A and HDMI ports. The company has also incorporated recycled materials and sustainable packaging across the range.

Alienware 15 Expands Gaming Portfolio

Dell has also refreshed its gaming lineup with the Alienware 15, which is now available with up to Intel Core 7 (Series 2) 240H processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics.

The laptop features a 15.3-inch WUXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. Dell says it incorporates improved thermal management and has been tested for everyday durability, including resistance to minor liquid spills and accidental drops. Connectivity includes USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 Ethernet and USB-C charging support.
