Canon has launched EOS R8 and R50 mirrorless cameras in India.

The EOS R8 is a lightweight and compact camera that offers improved image stabilisation while shooting handheld videos. It is capable of recording videos in 6K resolution and up to 4K/60p, with no restriction on recording time in 4K/30p.

The camera is also able to shoot in HDR PQ and Canon Log 3 for more advanced post-production workflows. With its Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology, the EOS R8 provides fast and accurate focusing in as fast as 0.03 seconds, even in low light conditions up to EV-6.5 for stills and EV-4 for video. This makes it ideal for wildlife and action photography.

The EOS R50 is an advanced mirrorless camera designed for intuitive vlogging. It has a 24.2MP APS-C format image sensor three times larger than a 1-inch sensor, producing high-quality 6K-oversampled 4K UHD video.

It has Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system for intelligent focus switching and two Movie IS levels for image stabilisation. It includes Auto Levelling Mode to correct horizontal tilt in difficult angles and can connect to a computer with one USB-C cable for high-quality live streams.
It can also connect wirelessly to a smartphone with the Camera Connect app to transfer videos and photos.
