How does Suryakumar Yadav play his 360 degree shots? The batter explains himself

Suryakumar Yadav has taken the cricketing world by storm with his unique range of shots in T20 World Cup 2022. But ever wondered how does Sky play those shots with so much ease?

In an interview with ESPNcricinfo Surya explained the science behind his batting. The 32-year-old said that he used to play a lot of rubber ball cricket during my school days on hard cement tracks. People used to just come running and chuck the ball as fast as they could.

'So when you are playing with the rubber ball on hard cement, it's easy for you to scoop, pull, play an uppercut, then play a slice over point. All these strokes which you see me play, square of the wicket and behind the square, have come from that,' he explained.

Sky also revealed that he has never practised this in the nets, never against any bowler or bowling machine. It has all come from playing with the rubber ball.

Suryakumar Yadav has been India's knight in shining armour ever since making his debut and took little time in attaining top spot in ICC T20I rankings for batters.
