As Sania Mirza played her last Grand Slam match at the Australian Open and is all set to bring the curtains down on a glorious career, her husband Shoaib Malik penned down an emotional note for his wife.

Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik heaped praise on the Indian tennis star and said that he was super proud of her achievements.

In a tweet, Shoaib wrote,'you are the much-needed hope for all the women in sports. You're an inspiration for many, keep going strong.'
