Rajasthan Royals assistant coach Shane Bond says his squad is still hard to beat, despite losing their fourth game on the trot in the IPL.

Punjab Kings won their match by five wickets at Barsapara Stadium on Wednesday.

Addressing the post-match press conference, Bond said, 'Obviously we're disappointed. It's never a great feeling when you're, when you're losing games in a row. Then your mind plays back to the what ifs. What if we'd won the one against Sunrisers?'

He added that despite the losses, they continue to be among the top teams, 'But you have to get some perspective too. You look at the points table and we're second. Even though we've had four losses in a row, we're still second. We've qualified. Depending on what happens in the next few games, there's still a chance we finished 1 or 2.'

Even after being defeated, Royals remain second on the IPL table, three points behind Kolkata, while for the Kings it was a bittersweet victory as they are second from the bottom.

The former Kiwi pacer sounded hopeful of the team's ability to come out of this tough phase, 'So it just takes one better game from us to turn things around. I think we're capable once we get to the finals, as we showed, particularly in the first half of the competition, that if we play our best cricket we're hard to beat. We're always hard to beat. All the games that we've been, even when we've lost, have been tough games, which means we're going to be competitive in the finals.'
